IASBO Foundation

The exclusive purpose for which the Foundation is established is to perform charitable and educational deeds within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  The office address of the Indiana Association of School Business Officials Foundation, Inc. is:

The Foundation will have the following purposes: 

  1. receive and administer funds for such additional and charitable purposes as are related to and in support of professional development and educational research activities as the Directors of the Foundation may from time to time determine;

  2. promote the profession of school business management, and;

  3. foster the relationship between IASBO and ASBO International and other organizations pertaining to school business management.

 

The Board of Directors has identified the following Foundation activities for priority funding: 

  1. scholarships to high school students;  (click here for the scholarship application)

  2. scholarships to graduate students;

  3. research projects related to school business management, and;

  4. professional development opportunities for IASBO members.

 The Foundation is governed by a seventeen-member Board of Directors.  The agent of the Board is the IASBO Executive Director.  The Board is the IASBO Board of Directors.

 The IASBO Foundation relies on contributions and fundraising activities, such as golf outings, raffles, and silent auctions.  Gifts, bequests, and memorial contributions are also welcome.  Such contributions are tax deductible as per the Internal Revenue Code pertaining to Section 501(c)(3) foundations.
