Membership in IASBO

IASBO Membership lists (password protected)

The categories of membership with the Indiana Association of School Business Officials include Active, Institutional, Education Associate, and Business Associate.

Membership is open to anyone employed in an administrative or supervisory position within the public schools of the State of Indiana with major duties in the business fields including finance, purchasing and supply, maintenance and operations, facility planning, food service, technology, transportation, human resources, treasurers, deputy treasurers, and employees of the department of education.  All IASBO membership is calculated on an individual basis. 

Active Membership

This type of membership applies to those individuals meeting the above criteria that pay for membership from personal funds.  

Active Membership Dues:  $40 or .001 times the member’s current salary, whichever is greater, per calendar year.

Institutional Membership

A School Corporation may pay institutional membership for a position held by a representative in the corporation that meets the membership qualifications established for membership in IASBO.

 Education Associate Membership

Education Associate membership is open to persons employed in an administrative position in private or parochial schools, members of school boards, school principals, university or college professors, and university or college students.  Other interested persons may be admitted to education associate membership upon approval by the Executive Committee.  

Education Associate Membership Dues:  $40.00 or .001 times the member’s current salary, whichever is greater, per calendar year.

Business Associate Membership

Business Associate membership is open to those members or firms who are commercially interested in the field of school business management including exhibitors, representatives of business firms, advertisers, professional engineers, architects, certified public accountants, attorneys, or other school business related professionals.

Business Associate Membership Dues:  $500 per July 1-June 30 fiscal year
