The Budgeting Fundamentals for School Business Officials (B110) certification course will be held on March 9 at The Palms in Plainfield. This course will focus on basic budget principles, terminology, and practices needed by a school business official to create and manage a budget. - Experience: Minimum 8-10 years administrative or supervisory position preferred and experience in human resources strongly preferred.

Position: Director of Business & Operations

Position Summary: Serve as the Chief Financial Officer for the district advising the Superintendent and the School Board in all matters relating to business and financial operations. Assume responsibility for long and short range financial projections by working with administrative staff, coordinating business activities, preparing reports and presentations for the Superintendent. Provide superior leadership in business affairs which will ensure the best possible educational services with the financial resources available. Oversee the operation of Maintenance Department and Business Department. Supervise the Maintenance Director, Deputy Treasurer, Accounts Payable, Payroll and Benefits Coordinator. Manage all Human Resource functions including FMLA, insurance, unemployment, employee hiring and termination.
