Joint School Finance Seminar

Wednesday, May 15, 2019  


The annual School Budgeting and Finance Seminar sponsored by ISBA, IAPSS and IASBO will be held on June 12 at the Ivy Tech Conference Center in Indianapolis.  The agenda will provide updates on current financial issues including information on the recently concluded Indiana General Assembly.  To register for the seminar, please go to the ISBA website at  The agenda for June 12 is as follows:

Position:              Business Manager

Corporation:      Southwest Allen County Schools


Job Responsibilities:  Responsible for the organization, direction and

operation of the financial and business affairs of the school system

including the preparation of the annual district budget; financial

records and reports; purchasing, accounting, and payroll functions. Reports to the Superintendent.

Qualifications:  School district financial experience strongly recommended.  4-Year college degree strongly recommended

 260 Day Contract:  Salary based on the district salary schedule.  Placement on the the schedule based on degrees held and years of experience.  Target start date is July 1, 2019
