Late yesterday afternoon, the educational management association executive directors were asked to join a conference call with Katie Jenner from the Governor’s office and Dr. Jennifer Sullivan from the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration.  We were informed that there would be a second issuance of Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer monies.  There is a very “short” timeline for completing the template identifying eligible students – Wednesday, September 23.  Please review the following information from Dr. Sullivan and the qualifications for students into this program.  This information was sent to superintendents late last night.  IASBO thanks the Governor’s office and FSSA for providing us with this information.

“Thank-you for your continued support in delivering “Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer” (P. EBT) to our most vulnerable families. Indiana families whose children receive free or reduced-cost meals at school may be eligible to receive a second issuance of P. EBT benefits. These benefits are intended to reimburse the families of Hoosier children for the cost of meals that their children were unable to consume at school.

In order for this second issuance to occur we need your assistance with completing the template identifying eligible students.  Please see the attached link below for details and the template.

Thank-you again for your continued support and assistance with issuing P. EBT benefits.
